AI powering more connected journeys
Hamburg Public Transport Assocation (hvv) coordinates local public transport – including buses, trains, and harbor ferries – across Hamburg and its surrounding metropolitan region.
As passenger expectations evolve, transportation operators are looking for new ways to deliver more connected, intuitive and accessible mobility experiences. To help address this challenge, Akkodis partnered with (hvv) to develop hvv mia, an AI-powered mobility assistant built on Akkodis' Synergeticon AI Conversational Service Hub.
Working closely with hvv and supported by user experience design expertise from Luxoom, Akkodis created a solution that brings together real-time journey information, route planning, ticket guidance and mobility services within a single conversational interface. Instead of navigating multiple apps, websites or service channels, passengers can access the information and support they need through natural-language interactions.
Hvv mia uses conversational and agentic AI to connect information, services and transactions across transportation systems, helping reduce friction throughout the passenger journey. It brings together multiple data sources within a single user-friendly experience, supporting more seamless, connected and accessible travel.
The result is a scalable foundation for intelligent mobility that helps transportation providers enhance the passenger experience while advancing broader digital transformation goals. Combining AI, digital engineering and human-centered design, the partnership highlights how technology can support more responsive and sustainable transportation networks.
