Following the conclusion of the 2nd meeting of the ILO Commission on the Future of Work, the Adecco Group CEO Alain Dehaze said:

“It is very inspiring to spend two full days with purpose-driven people who only have one vision in mind: making the future work for everyone. As members of the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work, we take a holistic view of today’s trends in the world of work, while also considering the challenges and opportunities that will have the most impact in the future. As one of the representatives from the business world, I want to see us strike the right balance between flexibility and security, for workers as well as companies. The current and future game-changer in the world of work is technology. I see great opportunities, as long as we have a human-centric approach and proactive labour market policies. We need a new social contract that fully engages business, trade unions and policymakers and that supports all workers and all ways of working. We need legal frameworks that guarantee employability, equal access to benefits and opportunity, and easier transitions for workers.”

Alain Dehaze represents the world’s largest HR solutions partner and the wider business community in the Commission’s efforts to offer policy recommendations that will make the future work for everyone.
