Swiss Job Market Index Q1 2026: Signs of stabilisation continue and transversal skills gain importance

The Adecco Group Swiss Job Market Index reveals, that the Swiss job market shows further signs of stabilisation in the first quarter of 2026. The number of job vacancies increased by 0.7% compared with the previous quarter. The current study focus examines demand for transversal skills such as teamwork, independent working and analytical thinking. These skills are gaining significant importance in the Swiss labour market – not as a direct consequence of artificial intelligence, but as an expression of broader structural change.
