Adecco has received the appeal decision on the French antitrust case

Zurich, Switzerland, January 26, 2010: Adecco Group, the world's leading provider of HR solutions, today received the decision of the Paris Court of Appeal on the antitrust proceedings involving Adecco and Adia France and its main competitors in France. The EUR 34 million fine, imposed on February 2, 2009, remains unchanged.

The Court rejected Adecco's appeal against the decision of the French Competition Council (Conseil de la Concurrence), which on February 2, 2009 had imposed a fine of EUR 34 million. Adecco and Adia France will not appeal this decision. As of December 31, 2008, Adecco has already recorded a provision for the total amount of the fine.
