How it started
"I began my journey with the Adecco Group nearly 25 years ago. Over that time, I've worked across diverse business units and evolving projects, growing alongside the organisation. Today, I lead our Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) in Japan, helping drive initiatives that bridge corporate responsibility with human connection."

From project manager to DE&I champion
"My role began with a focus on enterprise-level initiatives - regulatory projects, governance frameworks, and project standards tailored to Japan. But it was through themes like DE&I and LGBTQ+ inclusion that I discovered a deeper calling. These areas challenged my assumptions and invited me to explore leadership as an act of listening, respect, and co-creation."
My role today
"As Head of Enterprise PMO, I support cross-GBU projects and ensure alignment with Japan’s unique legal and cultural context. I also lead Q+Japan, our employee-driven DE&I initiative. In 2025, our focus is on turning inclusion into a strength - embedding it not just in policies, but in everyday behaviours and team dynamics. Whether it's implementing survey-based action plans or launching internal dialogue platforms such as our ‘Rainbow Channel’ podcast, my goal is to nurture environments where diverse perspectives truly thrive."
Our focus
"Our mission is to build a workplace where everyone, regardless of background or identity, feels safe, seen, and empowered to grow. This means advocating for systemic improvements, whilst also encouraging everyday conversations that gently shift culture. From DE&I efforts to responsible business practices, our projects aim to foster both individual authenticity and organisational integrity."
How our approach has evolved
"Inclusion was once seen as a supportive extra. Now, it’s becoming a core strategic pillar. In Japan, where cultural norms often prize conformity, inclusion work takes patience. But we’re seeing momentum – through partnership systems, awareness campaigns, and younger generations embracing diversity. My hope is that we continue to build spaces where it’s acceptable not to have all the answers, but essential to keep asking questions together. I am proud to be learning."
